The reform consists of introducing new convenient ways to pay for parking and control the payment. The main way to pay for parking services is a city application E-parking. There is also a possibility to pay for parking with the help of sms-payment, payment by terminals, through telegraph-bot and through Privat24 app. You can also purchase a subscription to pay for parking for 30, 60, or 90 days directly in the app. That's why we recruited parking consultants - young people of the city who work at the parking lots to help and explain the changes in the parking payment system to drivers.
Another cool case was the implementation of cashless parking (PayPass / PayWave technology) payment method at the closed perimeter parking lots. Such parking lots already exist at Central Market and Gorky Park.
At the moment more than 33 thousand citizens of Kharkiv have already downloaded the application and they are using it now. IOS - 43%, Android - 57%. The most popular way to pay for parking remains the application - 64% of payments are made as follows. The second place is occupied by payments through Privat24 - 28%.
