City Development

The birth of a child is one of the most responsible and important moments in life of every person. But because of the bureaucracy and paperwork, we do not have time to spend the first days with the baby, but we rush to dozens of instances to complete the paperwork. The Ministry of Digital Transformation began to fight this problem by introducing the еMalyatko project. On January 1, 2020, Kharkiv became the first city in Ukraine where newly-made parents can use the complex eMalyatko service. With one application, parents receive 10 services needed after the child is born. This is the issuance of a birth certificate, registration of a place of residence, material assistance and much more. Everything is formed with the help of one application in the maternity hospital or in any administrative services center.

During 2020 the service was used by 4,378 residents of Kharkiv where: 445 еMalyatko services were issued in maternity hospitals, 2991 services were issued in the administrative services center, 942 еMalyatko services were provided in the State registration of civil status acts departments of the Eastern Interregional Directorate of the Ministry of Justice.
